Galactic Encyclopedia
---------------------------
Entry # 981,231,783,813,651

Name: Mylo Steamwitz
Race: Human
SSN: 496-WZ-3452
Occupation: Space Trader

Mylo scours the universe in search of anything he can sell that will make him a buck and keep him from joining his uncle’s Yorp herding business.

Rocketing from planet to planet in his ship, the Millennium Kiwi, Mylo manages to stay one step ahead of his creditors.

He recently lost a fortune by trying to sell Regulan Blood Stones to the vampire dwellers of Ghoulbone IV.

- END OF ENTRY -

Having lost his last fortune at the hands of the Vampire Dwellers of Ghoulbone IV after trying to sell them Regulan Blood Stones, Mylo Steamwitz - a name high on his creditors' list of people to track down - has formulated another get-rich scheme...

It’s simple: the latest intergalactic fad is ‘Twibbles’; small, fury beings which, unbeknownst to Mylo, have a rather unfortunate tendency to eat ten times their weight per day and reproduce at a rate equal to their food consumption. Mylo plans to buy a Twibble farm to raise and sell Twibbles. However, one must have money (which Mylo hasn’t had much of since Ghoulbone IV) in order to purchase the farm, Twibbles and all other accessories associated.

One way of getting the money is to mine the perilous caves in Altair System for precious crystals, which can then be traded at the nearest Galactic Trading Post for money.

It’s not that simple, however. The perilous caves of Altair, as their name suggests, are perilous, and filled with less-than-delightful aliens who would like nothing more than to kill Mylo and keep his crystals, which is why he is carrying a Rocket Pistol.

Along the way, you’ll pick up on a few things that’ll improve Mylo’s chances of success:

Each cave Mylo mines from has been fitted with air filtration units so that Mylo may breathe comfortably. Shooting the air units change the way certain things behave in the level – the most noticeable being Mylo’s prompt death. As a general rule for completing the given level, avoid shooting air filtration units.

Every crystal must be collected before the airlock will let Mylo out of the given cave.

Ammo, possibly left by past miners, has been left throughout the caves. Mylo can collect this and use it for his own ammo.

When being fired at by the aliens living in the caves, Mylo can counter-fire to avoid getting hurt.

What will happen assuming Mylo collects enough crystals to trade for a Twibble farm? Will he succeed and finally be able to pay his creditors?
